Taking the first step and asking for help can be difficult. We get that and we'll do our very best to make this as easy on you as we can. Our team is comprised of mental health professionals, so from your first point of contact, to your first session and beyond, you can trust us.

So how do I begin?

Use the button below to take you to our calendar and schedule yourself for an initial consultation call. Anticipate this phone call to take about an hour, during which we'll discuss a bit about the practice and our philosophy, and learn what it is that has been going on in your life, and hear what you'd like to work on together.


During that call, we'll also get you scheduled for your first in person session if we both determine we're a good treatment fit for one another. We understand when you call us, you're ready to get to work on your issues. Because of that, we will get you scheduled for your in-person intake session within the next 30 days and will see you routinely (frequency of visits is dependent on your schedule and goals) after that.


Insurance Billing: As detailed on our Insurance page, we are in network with many insurance plans. If we will be billing your insurance on your behalf, your consultation phone call will be billed to your primary insurance if we schedule an intake session with you within 30 days of the time of the consultation call. Upon your first in-person session, both the consultation phone call and the intake session will be billed to your insurance.


 It is our policy to collect a credit card number from you as we set up your file. This card will be billed per session within 48 hours of the day of your service. 


To note: If it is determined by you or one of our staff that we are not a good fit as a provider, only the consultation call fee will be billed to you using the credit card number you provided for your file with no other obligation to services or fees. We always encourage individuals to go to www.psychologytoday.com for additional resources.
